We Stand Together to Stop AAPI Hate is a special exhibition brings together dozens of works committed by over 40 of the foremost diverse artists across generations, from both within and outside of the gallery’s program. Participating artists includes Judy Chicago, Kat Lyons, Pixy Liao, Dominique Fung, Susan Chen and Eddie Martinez, among many others. The works will be sold to benefit the AAPI Community Fund and Stop AAPI Hate Organization to enable tracking and efficient response to the surge in racism and xenophobia.

  • This coalition of artists and cultural workers aim to confront the aggravated racism, xenophobia and violence towards Asians in America. While extremely saddened and enraged by the countless abuse, assaults and hate crimes, including the Atlanta mass shooting on March 16th, 2021, we have decided to take action by starting a fundraiser to benefit the initiatives of “Stop AAPI Hate” and raise public awareness. 100% of the gallery proceeds will be donated. At the end of the fundraiser, the amount of funds raised will be made public on the gallery website.

  • As a communal effort to support the diasporic Asians in our communities, We Stand Together to Stop AAPI Hate underscores the important roles played by art and artists in stirring the public conscience, raising awareness, and fostering understanding, solidarity, and communal value. While this is the first fundraiser mobilizing support for the AAPI community organized by an art institution, we certainly hope to inspire many more similar initiatives to follow.
