Contemporary art is like a mirror reflecting the society in which we live. And art (works and objects) will continue to exist in the future, encompassing history and the future that we humans cannot see. In Chapter 2 of the series " Art is a Mirror Reflecting Society " by art producer Yukako Yamashita, we will introduce galleries that Yamashita is paying attention to.
Our ninth guest was Emilia Yin, founder of "Make Room," a gallery based in LA. We discussed the latest trends in the United States, a major hub for contemporary art, and she shared her perspective as an independent artist working there, as well as her new approaches to gallery management.

In 2018, she established "Make Room" and is dedicated to creating a platform where diverse artists can be themselves. In 2025, she launched "FORMA Society," a membership-based art and culture club aimed at fostering community, deepening relationships with collectors, and providing access to global culture through the perspective of contemporary art.
